What's next? - seal lions will be finned? I really doubt that the sea lion attacked the surfer - but what do I know, if CNN says it's a attack, it must be an attack...
Malicious attack or playful cavorting? Felix, we have harbor seals (well, one in particular) in SF bay that has nibbled and/or scratched several swimmers at my club recently... This is not common and is most likely an orphaned juvenile seal looking to play.
When you come in May, I'll take you for a swim and we'll see if he comes out to play! (BTW, no wetsuits allowed!)

Not sure about the wetsuit - but I am up for a swim with the juvenile...
