If you can believe it, Amazon.com is selling Shark Fin soup - this was brought to our attention by Jason Heller over at DivePhotoGuide.com. To see what you can do read the post here. DO SOMETHING...and Jeff B., hope the listing will be removed soon.

I cannot believe this! Did Amazon overlook this or does it mean they don't care about what finning does to our oceans therefore enviornment?!

Will they take it off their website? Please keep us posted!

This is a shame!! A quick search on their site reveals Amazon also sells shark fin cartilage powder.

Yeah!!! And clicking on the links found in that Amazon page you can find many other sites that sell more of these products.

www.SharkCartilageDirectory.com

What a disgrace.

Quick search at GNC.com also shows shark fin cartilage powder pills sold there.

What Amazon.com had to say: "Thank you for writing to Amazon.com with your comments regarding the sale of Shark Fin Soup in our Gourmet Food store.

The listings you mentioned were provided by a third-party seller.
Some of these particular listings are now no longer available for sale on our site.

Also, we've now removed this item from our store and this item is now listed as out-of-stock."

Let's see what happens in the future...
